Our mission is to provide the poor kids with basic needs of food and education in hope that they can be freed from the poverty cycle, pursue dreams and lead better lives while not forgetting to help uplift their community :)
You can join us by volunteering over at Touch-A-Life to prepare lunch and/or devise a simple workshop and teach the kids something new :)
Sufficient funding is needed for the monthly upkeep of the school. In addition, activities and programmes like excursion for the kids will require additional expenses too :)
School Project
This project plans to build a small school beside Touch-A-Life association in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Touch-A-life gives out free lunches to about 150 poor kids every other day. However, the kids either cannot afford school or have a poor command of English. Thus, the school next door aims to provide captivating english lessons and other fun-filled activities to these kids before or after lunch. In addition, they will be required to write a daily journal. The school will also collaborate with foreign teachers and students for inter-cultural exchange, knowledge-sharing and support opportunities. This will be done through a volun-tourism programme which includes service learning at Touch-A-Life, conducting short workshops for the kids, and a tour of Angkor Wat Temple. ths
